Bespoke tuxedos for black-tie, galas & awards nights
When the invitation says black-tie, the options for women all seem to be dresses. And the rare women's tuxedo you find off the rack is cut for a mannequin, boxy through the shoulders, wrong at the waist, never quite you. So you settle on a gown you don't feel like yourself in, or a stiff blazer that photographs flat.
A House of Falcone women's tuxedo is made from scratch for your body, from $1,595. Premium Italian cloth, over 25 measurements, every detail yours. Satin lapels, midnight blue or classic black, a cut that's unmistakably you. You walk in, exactly who you are, and you don't think about your outfit again all night.

Why custom changes everything

This is a private, one-on-one style session. No rushing, no sales pressure. You'll leave knowing exactly what you're getting and what it costs.
✓ A clear silhouette direction: sharp and structured, softly tailored, or a statement cut that's entirely yours.
✓ Your fabric and finish: satin or grosgrain lapels, midnight blue or classic black, velvet, or a specialty evening cloth.
✓ A complete evening look: jacket, trousers, blouse or shirt, and every finishing detail.

Our styles
Questions we get asked most
Can I wear a tuxedo to a black-tie wedding?
Absolutely! Whether you're a guest, in the wedding party, or the bride. More women are choosing tuxedos for black-tie weddings, and they look incredible. We'll design something that fits the dress code and the occasion perfectly.
What makes a women's tuxedo different from a regular suit?
A tuxedo is built for formal and black-tie occasions satin or grosgrain lapels, refined evening cloth, and details designed to photograph beautifully under lights. We tailor every element to you, so it reads formal and feels completely like yourself.
What sizes do you cater for?
Every suit is made from scratch to your measurements, so standard sizing doesn't apply. Our bespoke suits accommodate sizes 6 through 16 and beyond every garment is tailored to your exact frame. If you've ever been told "we don't carry your size," that's precisely why custom exists.
I'm not in Brisbane can I still get a custom suit?
Yes. We offer remote consultations via Zoom with AI body scan technology that captures precise measurements from your phone. Clients across Australia and internationally use this service with the same tailored fit results as our in-studio bespoke experience.
How long does it take?
Around 6 to 8 weeks from your first consultation to the final fitting. Got a deadline a wedding, an event, a shoot? Tell us and we'll advise on what's possible; we've worked with shorter timelines before.
What's included in the $1,595 starting price?
A private 45-minute consultation, premium Italian fabric, 25+ measurements, full garment construction, complete design customisation (lapels, buttons, lining, pockets), and a final fitting. No hidden costs. Accessories like a custom blouse, shoes, and coordination items are available as add-ons.
Can I wear a tuxedo as the bride?
Yes and it's one of our favourite things to make. A bespoke bridal tuxedo, cut to your body in the fabric and finish you choose, is an unforgettable alternative to a gown. We'll build something that feels powerful, personal, and completely you.
Do you dress brides and wedding parties?
Yes and we love it. Whether it's a full suit for the bride, coordinated looks for the wedding party, or a mother-of-the-bride outfit, we build each piece individually and coordinate them as one cohesive look for the day.
What cuts and styles do you offer?
Anything from sharp and structured to soft and relaxed feminine, masculine, or a blend that's entirely your own. In your consultation we shape the silhouette around your body, your industry, and how you want to feel in the room.
Can I add a matching skirt or extra pieces?
Absolutely. Alongside the jacket and trousers you can add a matching skirt, a waistcoat, second trousers, or a separate event look all cut from the same cloth and coordinated as one wardrobe.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Wholeheartedly, yes. House of Falcone is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone. Feminine, masculine, or somewhere in between your suit should feel like you, and we design it around who you are, with zero assumptions and zero judgement. Our LGBTQ+ clients are a valued part of the House, and we're proud to dress them for everything from boardrooms to weddings.
What fabrics do you use?
Premium Italian cloths from the finest mills Loro Piana, Reda, Carnet and more chosen for how they look, feel, and last. In your consultation we'll match the right weight and weave to Brisbane's climate and the way you'll wear the suit.
Can I reorder once you have my measurements?
Yes! That's one of the biggest advantages. Once we've built your profile, ordering your next suit is simple: choose a fabric and a few details, and we handle the rest. No need to start from scratch.
What's the difference between this and an off-the-rack suit?
An off-the-rack suit is cut for a factory average and altered to fit. A House of Falcone suit is built from scratch to over 25 of your own measurements, so every line follows your body, with no pulling, gaping, or compromise. The difference is visible in every photo.
What makes House of Falcone different from other tailors?
